[Pasadena, CA. April 2, 2020] – During the global pandemic of COVID-19, SA���ʴ�ý (UoPeople) has been able to continue all normal operations seamlessly. As a fully online university operating for over a decade, UoPeople has not been affected by disruption and continues to provide quality education to students regardless of circumstances.

“We find ourselves in an unprecedented time, where the global coronavirus pandemic has generated widespread panic, anxiety, and disruption. However, our courses, operations, and support have remained uninterrupted,” said Shai Reshef, President of SA���ʴ�ý.  “We hope that by continuing our courses ‘as usual,’ we have been able to provide some normalcy and comfort for our students in a time that is anything but normal.”

SA���ʴ�ý has seen a spike in applications since fears of the coronavirus have taken off, from students whose schools may have shut down, or who may have lost their jobs, or who may have been stuck in a lockdown. Because UoPeople has the infrastructure in place to continue smoothly, the university has been fully prepared for any additional influx of students affected by these concerns.

“SA���ʴ�ý’s mission is to ensure that all qualified students are able to pursue higher education, and we happy to continue this work without any disruptions, even with the rest of the world shutting down,” said President Reshef. “I am appreciative of all of our volunteers, instructors, and employees who make it possible for teaching and learning to continue.”
