PASADENA, CA (January 4, 2022) Intelligent.com has named SA���ʴ�ý (UoPeople) as the number one tuition-free online university in the United States as part of its annual rankings of the Best Online Colleges. UoPeople also received the top ranking for its Master’s in Teaching degree program and was ranked among the top 20 nationally in the following categories:

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the landscape of higher education and as a result online learning has become increasingly more popular because of its flexibility. According to the National Center for Education Statistics, 37.2% of college students have taken at least one online course and 17.6% take online courses exclusively. The flexibility of distance learning has made it an especially attractive option for students who have other responsibilities in addition to their education, such as children or a full-time job.

Then they evaluated each college on the strength of its academic programs, accreditation, online resources, reputation, student readiness, return on investment, cost, and student engagement. Over 2,900 colleges and universities were researched as part of their annual rankings. Other universities that were named by Intelligent.com in this year’s online college rankings include Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and MIT.
