Description of Complaint Process
Individuals have the option to file a complaint with an outside agency. However, most states require to first attempt to resolve issues directly with the SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½. If you have an issue or concern about your experience with UoPeople, we encourage you to contact us directly at student.affairs@uopeople.edu. Refund Policies
The SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½â€™s Application Processing Fee is $60 USD and is non-refundable.
Applicants who withdrew their application before an admissions decision was made, may write a formal request to their Admissions Advisor asking for a refund.
Refunds for assessment fees are not necessary nor applicable under the payment structure of UoPeople. This is because students are never charged up front to pay for assessment fees. Rather, students are asked to pay course assessment fees after the 5th week of each term. Students who withdraw or are administratively withdrawn during the first four weeks are not charged course assessment fees, and all students enrolled from Day 1 of the 5th week of the term are assigned a course grade.  Those who wish to earn credit for a course pay the course assessment fee and take the final exam.
Applicants residing in Georgia, USA may request a refund for all monies, including nonrefundable application fees if requested within three (3) business days after making a payment.

UoPeople offers no degree programs that lead to licensure or certification, and makes no claims that it does so.
