Health Science Student, Lopuyo Says UoPeople Offers Him Unmatched Flexibility

a male health science student from Kenya

Lopuyo L.,Health Science,Kenya

Lopuyo was born into a huge family in northern Kenya, but his academic journey has taken him all over the country. Throughout his studies, he found himself gravitating towards the field of health science. When it came time to pursue his passion, he chose SAʴý for its low cost, flexibility, and American accreditation.

“UoPeople has been a godsend for me,” Lopuyo tells us. “I am happy to be learning so much. It has been wonderful learning with students from Nigeria, China, the USA, Bangladesh, Pakistan—and all over the world…The education I am receiving at UoPeople is state of the art in every way.”

Not content to earn just one degree, Lopuyo is also earning a bachelor’s degree in physics at the SAʴý of Nairobi. He plans to complete both degrees and eventually secure a job as a professor of medical physics.

Because UoPeople offers unmatched flexibility, Lopuyo is able to manage his time between his education and personal life. He loves studying literature and music and even composes his own songs.

“I love that my studies don’t interfere with my personal life or the other degree I am currently pursuing. I can learn and submit my assignments at my own pace within the week,” he explains. “However, I also make sure there is always enough time to relax and unwind.”

As a university, we’re proud to be able to support the ambitious dreams of students like Lopuyo. We can’t wait to hear stories of his success.
