SA���ʴ�ý

Ruhallah was born and raised in Afghanistan during a time of war and unrest. Despite the challenges that came with growing up in a conflict-affected region, Ruhallah remained resolutely focused on his academic goals.  

“My upbringing instilled in me a strong sense of resilience and determination,” he tells us proudly.  
 
After finishing high school, he studied photojournalism and eventually began a bachelor’s program in business management. Unfortunately, paying for courses became impossible and he was forced to pause his studies.  

Ruhallah refused to give up.  

“What truly drives me is the desire to make a meaningful difference in the world,” he says. “I am passionate about leveraging technology to address pressing social and economic challenges, particularly in underserved communities.” 

Ruhallah immigrated to Germany and started looking for alternative options. He discovered SA���ʴ�ý. 

“When I discovered SA���ʴ�ý, I was drawn to its mission of making quality higher education accessible to all…My experience at UoPeople has been nothing short of transformative,” he says. “The supportive community, rigorous curriculum, and flexible online format have allowed me to thrive academically while balancing other responsibilities.” 

Now a full-time German resident, Ruhallah is pursuing his UoPeople degree in computer science. He plans to eventually build a company that uses new technologies to address social and economic inequity. He also wants to mentor the next generation of tech leaders, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds. 

Ruhallah is very busy these days, balancing his studies with a part-time job and taking care of his family. Along with time management and self-discipline, the flexibility of UoPeople’s programs has been key to his success. “I am fortunate to have a strong support system that enables me to excel in both my academic and personal endeavors,” he says.
